Artykuł przedstawia wzajemne relacje, łączące polskich Tatarów z Tatarami Krymskimi po aneksji Półwyspu Krymskiego przez Rosję w 2014 roku. Tekst składa się z trzech punktów poprzedzonych wprowadzeniem, w którym opisany został kontekst historyczny omawianego problemu. W zasadniczej części artykułu wskazano podstawowe kwestie związane z liczebnością i położeniem społecznym Tatarów Krymskich, tworzących w Polsce diasporę migracyjną. Następnie – na podstawie badań empirycznych – omówiona została specyfika postrzegania Tatarów Krymskich przez polskich Tatarów. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono przy tym na zestawienie różnic dzielących oba etnosy tatarskie. Klasyfikacja ta pozwoliła odnieść się do wzajemnych kontaktów i płaszczyzn współpracy Tatarów polskich i Krymskich. We wnioskach końcowych autor stwierdza, że proces ewolucji relacji od wyobrażonej i wyidealizowanej pamięci pochodzenia do budowania realnie istniejącej wspólnoty nie jest – jak dotąd – zakończony.

The article presents the mutual relations linking the Polish Tatars with the Crimean Tatars after the annexation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia in 2014. The text consists of three parts preceded by an introduction, which describes the historical context of the problem at hand. The main part of the article identifies the basic issues related to the number and social position of Crimean Tatars, forming a migrant diaspora in Poland. Then, on the basis of empirical research, the specifics of the perception of Crimean Tatars by Polish Tatars were discussed. In doing so, special attention was paid to a classification of the differences separating the two Tatar ethnises. This classification made it possible to refer to mutual contacts and levels of cooperation between Polish and Crimean Tatars. In the final conclusions, the author states that the process of evolution of relations from the imagined and idealized memory of origin to the building of a real existing community is not yet completed.
