The paper is dedicated to selected issues of school functioning of children with a refugee background. The analyses undertaken in the article show dilemmas and difficulties accompanying education and integration processes in the new country of residence in the light of the literature and autobiographical narratives of students from selected Polish schools. The text is composed of two complementary parts. The first is related to analyzing the main problems regarding the formal education of refugee children. The second presents successive phases of becoming a refugee against of children's autobiographical experiences (depicted using fragments of narrative interviews). The text can be useful to anyone interested in the theory and practice of educating forced migrants.

Tekst poświęcony jest wybranym zagadnieniom szkolnego funkcjonowania dzieci z doświadczeniem uchodźstwa. Analizy podjęte w artykule ukazują dylematy i trudności towarzyszące procesom edukacji i integracji w nowym kraju pobytu w świetle literatury przedmiotu oraz narracji autobiograficznych uczniów z wybranych polskich szkół. Tekst składa się z dwu komplementarnych części. Pierwsza poświęcona jest analizie głównych problemów dotyczących formalnej edukacji dzieci ze środowisk uchodźczych. Druga prezentuje następujące po sobie fazy stawania się uchodźcą na tle doświadczeń autobiograficznych dzieci (zobrazowanych za pomocą fragmentów wywiadów narracyjnych). Artykuł może być przydatny wszystkim zainteresowanym problematyką edukacji przymusowych migrantów zarówno od strony teoretycznej, jak i praktycznej.

Celem artykułu jest opisanie trudności związanych z funkcjonowaniem w bliskim związku uczuciowym, jakich doświadczają dorosłe dzieci z rodzin rozwiedzionych. Analiza przeprowadzonych wywiadów wskazuje, że narratorzy doświadczali trudności w radzeniu sobie z rozwodem rodziców, co miało swoje odzwierciedlenie przede wszystkim w budowaniu bliskich relacji uczuciowych z płcią przeciwną. Problemy te w największej mierze odnosiły się do sfery emocjonalnej, a wiązały się z brakiem zaufania, lękiem o przyszłość i trwałość związku, nieumiejętnością wyrażania i okazywania uczuć, niskim poczuciem własnej wartości i niską samooceną oraz z deprywacją wewnętrznej potrzeby bezpieczeństwa.

The purpose of this article is to describe the difficulties of functioning in close emotional relationships experienced by divorced adult children. In addition, the purpose of this article was to try to understand this experience as it is experienced by those whose parents have divorced. The analysis of the interviews indicated that the narrators were experiencing difficulties in coping with parental divorce, which was primarily reflected in building close emotional relationships with the opposite sex. These problems have to a large extent been related to the emotional sphere, and they involve lack of trust, fear for the future and sustainability of relationships, the inability to express and show feelings, low self-esteem, and the deprivation of internal security needs.

The purpose of the article is to present a specific nature of an interpretative approach in psychological qualitative research. To be more precise, it is aimed at conducting research, analysis and interpretation of narrative materials in a way that is coherent with a theoretical model. The proposed research procedure is a result of the authors’ long term experiences in using a narrative method in an interpretative model of psychological qualitative research based on M. Straś-Romanowska’s concept (1992). The research procedure is presented on an example of examining ways of experiencing a divorce by women with various length of post-divorce life and different autobiographical experiences.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie specyfiki podejścia interpretatywnego w psychologicznych badaniach jakościowych. Precyzując – chodzi o spójne z modelem teoretycznym prowadzenia badań, analizę oraz interpretację materiałów narracyjnych. Zaproponowana procedura postępowania badawczego jest wynikiem wieloletnich doświadczeń autorek w stosowaniu metody narracyjnej w interpretatywnym modelu w psychologicznych badaniach jakościowych, opartych na koncepcji M. Straś-Romanowskiej (1992). Postępowanie badawcze zostało przedstawione na przykładzie badania sposobu doświadczania rozwodu.
