Modern technological possibilities referring to business intelligence and knowledge management support in an organization comprise mainly software which supports groupware, software used for workflow management, intranets and corporal portals, tools for remote learning, data warehouse and Enterprise Content Management systems. The latter of the mentioned information technologies currently seems to be one of the most crucial structural foundations of business intelligence and knowledge management systems which have been developing rapidly over recent years. The main objective of this paper is to present the author’s general methodology of the implementation of the ECM systems in the organization resulting from the preliminary literature review and the extensive practical experience. The first part of the study concentrates on the main definitions. The next and the most important part presents the details of the proposed methodology.

Artykuł przedstawia szczegółowo instrukcje kancelaryjne oraz wykazy akt służby bezpieczeństwa PRL, jako przepisy regulujące podstawowe mechanizmy kancelaryjno–biurowe. Autorka analizuje także dokumentację wytworzoną przez służby bezpieczeństwa w zasobie zgromadzonym przez IPN. Dzięki kwerendzie archiwalnej udało się odnaleźć szereg wewnętrznych aktów prawnych regulujących te kwestie. Celem pracy jest zatem poznanie mechanizmów pracy kancelaryjnej w strukturach SB poprzez pryzmat teorii cyklu życiowego dokumentu.

The article presents in detail office instructions and lists of files of the Security Service of the People’s Republic of Poland, as provisions regulating the basic mechanisms of the office. The author also analyses the documentation produced by the Security Service in the resource collected by the Institute of National Remembrance. Thanks to archival inquiry, it was possible to find a number of internal legal acts regulating these issues. The aim of the work is therefore to learn about the mechanisms of office work in the Security Service structures through the prism of the document life cycle theory.

В статье подробно представлены инструкции делопроизводства и списки дел службы безопасности Польской Народной Республики, как положения, регулирующие основные механизмы службы. Автор также анализирует документацию спецслужб в фондах, собранных Институтом национальной памяти. Благодаря архивному поиску удалось найти ряд внутренних правовых актов, регулирующих эти вопросы. Таким образом, цель работы - изучить механизмы делопроизводства в структурах спецслужб коммунистической Польши через призму теории жизненного цикла документов.
