Celem artykułu jest analiza rynków małżeńskich polskiej klasy wyższej, z wykorzystaniem kategorii interpretacyjnych Pierre’a Bourdieu i Michela Callona. Tekst prezentuje miejsca spotkań jednostek z klasy wyższej. Artykuł powstał na podstawie materiału badawczego, na który składają się 23 wywiady pogłębione. Przedstawiciele klasy wyższej spotykają przyszłego małżonka/kę w miejscach ekskluzywnych, wyselekcjonowanych, w których występują trzy bariery wstępu: kapitał kulturowy, społeczny oraz ekonomiczny. Przestrzenie wraz z infrastrukturą odgrywają podczas poznania znaczącą rolę, także w kontekście dominującego gustu klasy wyższej, która unika miejsc ogólnodostępnych i styczności z klasami niższymi.

The aim of the article is to analyze the marriage markets of the Polish upper class, using the interpretive categories of Pierre Bourdieu and Michel Callon. The text presents the meeting places for upper class individuals. The article is based on the research material consisting of 23 in-depth interviews. Upper class representatives meet their future spouses in the exclusive, selected places where there are three entry barriers: cultural, social and economic capital. Spaces and infrastructure play a significant role during the encounter, also in the context of the dominant taste of the upper class, which avoids generally accessible places and contact with lower classes.
