The theme of the article, Domestic Liturgy as the Realization of Biblical Principles of Family Life, is still relevant and valid. It concerns the worship of God in the domestic liturgy and the Christian family living according to biblical principles. The problem of this study is summed up in the question: to what extent does the domestic liturgy facilitate and inspire the realization of the principles of family life found in the Bible? To answer this question, the dissertation is structured in two parts: principles of family life in Scripture (1) and domestic liturgy (2). The theologico-biblico-liturgical analyses carried out led to the achievement of the intended goal in the form of practical conclusions. The study has shown that it is necessary (especially in this time of an ongoing pandemic with no end in sight) to give greater value and appreciation to domestic liturgy, which promotes the application of the principles of family life contained in the Decalogue and the Bible. The presented conclusions of the article testify to its originality and inspire further research in the discussed topic.

The article presents the take on marital spirituality in the apostolic exhortations Familiaris Consortio and Amoris Laetitia, and shows the similarities and differences between both documents regarding the discussed issue. Source texts are analyzed with the use of available scholarly studies, the comparative and deductive methods being likewise employed. The first part of the article discusses the concepts of Christian spirituality and marital spirituality. The second part is an analysis of the exhortation Familiaris Consortio as regards elements of marital spirituality. In the third part, an analysis of the concept of marital spirituality contained in the exhortation Amoris Laetitia is carried out, based primarily on the content of the document’s chapter nine. The fourth section discusses the similarities and differences in the teaching of the two exhortations. Familiaris Consortio and Amoris laetitia represent similar dynamics of conjugal spirituality and complement each other well. John Paul II describes the various forms of prayer in more detail, while Francis focuses more on concrete acts of love.

Artykuł przedstawia ujęcie duchowości małżeńskiej w adhortacjach apostolskich Familiaris consortio i Amoris laetitia oraz prezentuje podobieństwa i różnice dotyczące tego zagadnienia w obydwu dokumentach. Posłużono się metodą analizy tekstów źródłowych z wykorzystaniem dostępnych opracowań, a także metodą porównawczą i dedukcyjną. W pierwszej części artykułu omówione zostały pojęcia duchowości chrześcijańskiej oraz duchowości małżeńskiej. Część druga stanowi analizę adhortacji Familiaris consortio pod kątem elementów duchowości małżeńskiej. W części trzeciej przeprowadzono analizę koncepcji duchowości małżeńskiej zawartej w adhortacji Amoris laetitia, opierając się przede wszystkim na treści rozdziału dziewiątego dokumentu. Część czwarta omawia podobieństwa i różnice w nauczaniu obydwu adhortacji. Familiaris consortio i Amoris laetitia przedstawiają podobną dynamikę duchowości małżeńskiej i dobrze się uzupełniają. Jan Paweł II bardziej szczegółowo przedstawia różne formy modlitewne, natomiast Franciszek w większym stopniu skupia się na konkretnych czynach miłości.

True humanness reaches its fulfillment in Christ. It is faith that enables one to appreciate fully that gift of humanness, its value and its meaning, as well as to realize the marital-familial vocation. Testimony given to Christ in the Christian family takes on a more visible form as it harmonizes with the mature testimony of humanness. An important role of testimony in the family expresses itself in the objectives of this testimony. The testimony of humanness expresses itself in the task of building a community of persons and lasting marriage, respect towards persons and the human body, and commitment to maturing love and the realization of parenthood. Testimony of faith is connected with the task of professing God’s Word, realization of one’s baptismal priesthood, love and apostolate. Sacramental grace and prayer enable spouses and other family members to fully discover and realize these tasks.

Człowieczeństwo osiąga swoją pełnię w Chrystusie. Wiara pozwala pełniej odkrywać dar człowieczeństwa, jego wartość i znaczenie oraz pełniej realizować powołanie małżeńsko-rodzinne. Świadectwo dawane Chrystusowi w rodzinie chrześcijańskiej przybiera czytelną formę wtedy, gdy harmonizuje z dojrzałym świadectwem człowieczeństwa. Doniosła rola świadectwa w rodzinie wyraża się w zadaniach, jakie ono spełnia. Świadectwo człowieczeństwa wyraża się w zadaniu budowania komunii osób i trwałego małżeństwa, szacunku dla osoby i ludzkiego ciała, zaangażowaniu w dojrzewanie miłości oraz realizacji rodzicielstwa. Świadectwo wiary łączy się z zadaniem głoszenia słowa Bożego, spełniania kapłaństwa chrzcielnego oraz miłości służebnej i apostolatu. Do pełniejszego odczytania i realizacji tych zadań uzdalnia małżonków i członków rodziny łaska sakramentalna i modlitwa.
