Acquiring foreign capital in the conditions of limited possibilities of own financing is a natural decision-making process in every company. There are many factors shaping the financing structure, of which the key role is assigned to the cost of capital and risk. Based on her own research, the author assesses the impact of selected factors on the structure of financing enterprises in Poland. Particular attention was focused on the achieved profitability and the structure of assets. The financing strategy was also assessed based on the property and capital relations of enterprises.

Pozyskiwanie kapitałów obcych w warunkach ograniczonych możliwości finansowania własnego jest naturalnym procesem decyzyjnym w każdej firmie. Czynników kształtowania struktury finansowania jest wiele, z których kluczową rolę przypisuje się kosztowi kapitału oraz ryzyku. Autorka w oparciu o badania własne dokonuje oceny wpływu wybranych czynników na strukturę finansowania przedsiębiorstw w Polsce. Szczególna uwaga została skupiona na osiąganej rentowności oraz strukturze aktywów. Dokonano także oceny strategii finansowania w oparciu o relacje majątkowo-kapitałowe przedsiębiorstw.
