Historia niemieckiego rodu Klein, pochodzącego z Mecklemburgii, rozpoczęła się w Wielkopolsce w roku 1652, kiedy to, wtedy jeszcze kapitan dragonów Ludwika Weihera, Georg Klein [zwany później w polskich pismach Jerzy Klejna] ożenił się z Anną Eufrozyną Simon, córką Martina Simon – burmistrza Wałcza. Artykuł opisuje losy rodziny osiadłej we wsi Wiesiółka koła Skrzatusza, którą król Jan Kazimierz darował podpułkownikowi Jerzemu Klejna wraz z herbem i prawami szlacheckimi za zasługi na polu boju w roku 1666. Następnie majątek przechodził na synów i wnuków pułkownika przez cztery pokolenia. Ostatnim posesorem majątku była Anna Szwander z Klejnów, która sprzedała ojcowiznę w 1808 roku, kończąc tym samym historię rodu Klejna w Wiesiółce.

A history of German family Klein, coming from Mecklenburg, began in the Greater Poland in 1652 when a captain of Ludwik Weiher’s dragoons, Georg Klein [later known as Jerzy Klejna] married Anna Eufrozyna Simon, a daughter of Martin Simon – a mayor of Wałcz. The article describes the fate of the family settled in the village Wiesiółka near Skrzatusz, which was given to Lieutenant Colonel Jerzy Klejna by the King Jan Kazimierz with both the coat of arms and the rights of the nobility. It was all granted for his contribution in the field of battle in 1666. The property had been passed to the Colonel’s sons and grandsons for four generations. The last possessor of the assets was Anna Szwander of Klejna who sold patrimony in 1808. Thus she ended the history of the family Klejna in Wiesiółka.
