The contribution focuses on the possibilities of applying the elements of music education within the theory and practice of drama education in the education of undergraduate students – the future elementary and secondary school teachers. Implementation of music education to the subject of Drama education in the study programme ‘Teaching comprehensive subjects’ allows the participants: a) learn how to use the aforementioned educational art subjects as the possibility to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom by creative education; b) activate students in educational process. The theoretical part of the paper is illustrated by the examples from the educational practice compiled by the authoresses.

Tvořivost je lidská schopnost vyrovnat se s životními situacemi a úkoly neobvyklým způsobem, který je unikátní pro každého člověka. V případě dospělých, je tvořivost obvykle spojena s nástupem nových hodnot, v nových produktech, objevech, technologickém postupu atd. Nicméně je situace odlišná v případě, kreativity dětí. Tento druh kreativity přináší „nové objevy” pouze ze subjektivního pohledu dítěte. Z hlediska vývoje dítěte, je ale pokrok v procesu poznávání sama sebe důležitý a cenný.

Creativity is human ability to cope with life situations and tasks in an unusual way which is unique for each human being. In case of the adults, creativity is usually linked to emergence of new values, new products, discovery, technological procedure etc. Nevertheless, situation is different in case of children’s creativity. This kind of creativity brings „new discoveries” only from the child’s subjective perspective. From the point of view of the child’s development, however, advancement in the process of discovering itself is important and valuable.

Kreatywność to zdolność człowieka do radzenia sobie w sytuacjach Ŝyciowych i realizacja zadań w sposób niezwykły, który jest wyjątkowy dla kaŜdego człowieka. W przypadku osób dorosłych kreatywność jest zazwyczaj związana z pojawieniem się nowych wartości, nowych wytworów, odkryć, rozwiązań technologicznych itp., jednak sytuacja jest inna w przypadku twórczości dzieci. Ten rodzaj twórczości wprowadza „nowe odkrycia” tylko według subiektywnej perspektywy dziecka. Z punktu widzenia rozwoju dziecka rozwój w procesie odkrywania siebie jest waŜny i cenny.
