L’autore dell’articolo presenta più importanti modi della presenza della Parola di Dio nella vita della Chiesa polacca come: la celebrazione liturgica, la proclamazione della Parola, la catechesi, l’apostolato biblico, la lettura della Bibbia, la lectio divina. Nella seconda parte dell’articolo si cerca di dimostrare la presenza della Parola di Dio nella missione dell’evange¬lizzazione per l’attualizzazione dell’messaggio biblico, per il dialogo ecumenico e per l’incultu- razzione della Bibbia. Come conclusione l’autore vorrei offrire certi suggestioni sulla formazio¬ne biblica e sull’organizzazione del settore per l’apostolato biblico.

Proclaiming God’s Word is one of the most important tasks of the Church. God’s Word is the gift to the whole Church. It is first of all the presbyters who take part in the forwarding of this Word. Proclamation of God’s Word is the duty and the right stemming from accepted by them sacrament of ordination. Magisterium of the Church, especially Apostolic exhortation Verbum Domini dealing with God’s Word in the life and mission of the Church, talks in several passages about issues connected with proclamation of this Word by presbyters. The papal document gives tips for the priests, relating to preaching sermons, praying with Liturgy of Hours, conducting services based on God’s Word and relating to the value of silence, celebratory proclamation of God’s Word in the church, biblical ministry, the place of God’s Word in religious instructions and priest’s life.

Przepowiadanie słowa Bożego jest jednym z najważniejszych zadań spoczywających na Kościele. Słowo Boże jest darem dla całego Kościoła. W jego przekazie uczestniczą przede wszystkim prezbiterzy. Głoszenie słowa Bożego jest obowiązkiem i uprawnieniem wynikającym z przyjętego przez nich sakramentu święceń. Magisterium Kościoła, a zwłaszcza adhort. apost. Verbum Domini w kilku miejscach podjęła zagadnienie związane z przepowiadaniem tego słowa przez prezbiterów. Papieski dokument przedstawia wskazówki dla kapłanów dotyczące głoszenia homilii, modlitwy Liturgią godzin, przeprowadzania nabożeństw słowa Bożego, odnoszące się do wartości milczenia, uroczystego głoszenia słowa Bożego w świątyni, duszpasterstwa biblijnego, miejsca słowa Bożego w katechezie oraz w życiu kapłana.

The first aim of the article is to place the document The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church within the context of the biblical renewal of the 20th century. Maintaining a continuity with the constitution Dei Verbum, the PBC puts in its document new elements which indicate the place of the Bible in the Church. It concerns mainly the actualization and inculturation of the Holy Scripture. Vital for pastoral work are recommendations on the biblical apostolate, above all those referring to basic communities that read the Bible. The analysis of the fourth chapter of the PBC’s document also yielded some critical comments concerning the presented postulates. The weakness of this document is, without any doubt, the fact that it was written from the biblical scholarly point of view, without the collaboration of pastoral theologians of various specialities. This fundamental deficiency of the document The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church is absent in exhortation Verbum Domini. Postulates presented by Pope Benedict XVI referring to “biblical animation of all pastoral work” show that the Bible is not an addition to pastoral work, but rather its source and essence. Proposals contained in the exhortation Verbum Domini give new opportunities for biblical animation in many areas of the life of Church.

Przedmiotem analizy jest dokument Papieskiej Komisji Biblijnej „Interpretacja Biblii w Kościele”. Jest on najpierw odczytany w kontekście odnowy biblijnej, jaka miała miejsce w Kościele katolickim w XX wieku, w szczególności w związku z konstytucją Dei Verbum Soboru Watykańskiego II. Nowością dokumenty PKB jest położenie większego akcentu na kwestię aktualizacji i inkulturacji Biblii, jak również zwrócenie uwagi na duszpasterską rolę wspólnot podstawowych podejmujących lekturę Pisma Świętego. Pewną słabością dokumentu „Interpretacja Biblii w Kościele” jest zauważalny w nim brak współpracy biblistów z teologiami pastoralnymi. Ten mankament jest przezwyciężony w adhortacji Verbum Domini, której główny postulat zawiera się w „ubiblijnieniu całego duszpasterstwa”. W konsekwencji adhortacja stwarza nowe możliwości animacji biblijnej duszpasterstwa, rozwijając i pogłębiając postulaty wysunięte wcześniej w dokumencie „Interpretacji Biblii w Kościele”.
