Based on an analysis of the officialbooks of the Prague archbishopric and other sources, the study endeavours to analyse the structure and development of the parish network on the territory of the Pilsen deanery from its beginnings until the Hussite period. It first attempts to outline the dynamics of the process of the creation of the parish organization on the territory of this ecclesiastical-administrative whole; it subsequently pays attention to some thematic circles: the issue of church patronage law, the parish clergy, the material assurance of the benefices and the influence of the papal curia on the functioning of the deanery. A component is also an extensive tabular supplement, where the information on every parish benefice is summarized synoptically.

The article is concerned with ecclesiastical administration of Bohemia in 1715. It tackles the issue from a geographical and cartographic perspective. In the introduction, the paper summarizes the condition of available written and map sources from the 18th century, which are related to the ecclesiastic administration and the condition of the settlements. This is followed by a brief chapter on the current state of research on the historical borders. The main section is dedicated to procedures used in reconstruction of spatial data on ecclesiastical administration in the Litoměřice diocese and part of the Prague Archdiocese. The essential instruments for obtaining the historical condition of the parish borders included tools of geographical information systems and spatial databases. The subsequent cartographic section describes the cirkevnimapy.cz portal as the main map output of the reconstruction. There are also basic statistic data on vicariates of the involved dioceses.

Based on the edited accessible Evangelical church orders issued between 1520 and 1620 for the Bohemian and Moravian noble estates, the study analyses the role of the nobility in both crown lands in the shaping of the evangelical church organisation. It deals with the building of a higher level of evangelical ecclesiastical administration on the estates of reformminded aristocrats. It devotes greater attention to the role of the nobility in the efforts for the constitution of the new evangelical organisations, which emerged in some parts of Moravia in the last third of the 16th and beginning of the 17th centuries and affected a wider territory. The impulse for these endeavours in Moravia was the decline of the power of the Prague Utraquist consistory. In the case of the Kingdom of Bohemia, the study notes the efforts of the non-Catholic estates to renew supervision over the consistory, which they had lost in the middle of the 16th century and were only able to regain in 1609.

The study summrizes the current knowledge concerning the performance of ecclesiastical administration in the Prague diocese disrupted by the Hussite wars from the Zittau exile centre. It also provides a number of scattered documents on the everyday worries, disputes and life strategies of the Catholic clerby. it particularly focuses on the organizational and communication aspects of the issues, hence on the personnel composition and functioning of the so-called Zittau consistory, the possibilities and limits of the delegation of authority, correspondence dealing with the cases using messengers and the movement of the clergy within the diocese. Another circle of questions is the financial situation, hence which financial resources were available to the consistory and in what way the obligatory payments from the diocese were collected and paid. Using the rare documents, it also attempts to illustrate the everyday stereotype of the life of a Catholic clergyman in the shadow of the "great history" of the Hussite revolution.
