The article presents an ecological aspect of organization of mass sporting events. The issues related to waste management and reducing a negative impact of sporting events on the environment are presented. Raising awareness of the importance of environmental protection shows that new methods and conceptions like reverse logistics, ecologistics and “green” logistics are searched for. The example of London Olympic Games and EURO 2012 shows that due to ecological actions we can achieve measurable benefits.

Modern consumers are becoming more demanding as to the quality of the products and their costs, as well as to the socioecological conditions of production. Therefore, the Corporate Social Responsibility is becoming the increasingly frequent basis for management decisions. At the same time, there is a question about the way of implementing the CSR in the business organizations. The aim of this article is to show logistics as a key area of corporate responsibility attitudes and logistic tools to enable practical development of these attitudes in the supply chain

The author points to the essence and importance of ecologistics in enterprises and supply chains in the context of the growing environmental crisis. Based on the assumption that bottom-up initiatives of individual enterprises, which have their source in the implementation of corporate social responsibility, as well as in striving to improve competitiveness are able to realistically and faster than system projects affect the elimination of the greatest threats to the natural environment, the author presents solutions in the field of ecologistics, which can be applied in any enterprise regardless of its status. The purpose of the discussion undertaken in the paper is to present the author's model of the level of development of ecologistics and the system of evaluation of activities in this field in the enterprise and the supply chain.

Autorka wskazuje na istotę i znaczenie ekologistyki w przedsiębiorstwach i łańcuchach dostaw w kontekście nasilającego się kryzysu środowiskowego. Wychodząc z założenia, że oddolne inicjatywy pojedynczych przedsiębiorstw mające swoje źródło w realizacji społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu, jak również w dążeniu do poprawy konkurencyjności są w stanie realnie i szybciej niż projekty systemowe wpłynąć na eliminowanie największych zagrożeń dla środowiska naturalnego, autorka prezentuje rozwiązania z zakresu ekologistyki, które można aplikować w każdym przedsiębiorstwie bez względu na jego status. Celem rozważań podjętych w referacie jest prezentacja autorskiego modelu zaawansowania ekologistyki oraz sposobów oceny działań w tym zakresie w przedsiębiorstwie i łańcuchu dostaw.
