In submitted contribution there are analysed the ways of organizing and functioning of district and regional pedagogical groups in the period between years 1947 – 1950. The intention of that groups was the centralisation of pedagogical research; performed not only by experts, but mainly by teachers from various schools, too. These organisations had been functioned as part of the newborn State Pedagogical Institute in Bratislava. Teachers from praxis, by their daily connection with teaching practice, were able to search and study existing pedagogical problems. Professionals from State Pedagogical Institute received materials – results from local researches – and evaluated and prepared them to final form for publishing. Duty of the groups was to inform the center in Bratislava about all implemented activities. Their activities also included professional lectures on pedagogy – by this way was the partial development of pedagogical theory garanted. On the other side, all the activities of district and regional pedagogical groups were strongly deformed by ideological pressure.

Rodzina jest swoistym środowiskiem wychowawczym, składającym się z szeregu elementów, w którym najważniejszym są: interakcje zachodzące między poszczególnymi członkami rodziny, co ma ogromny wpływ na formowanie osobowości dzieci i młodzieży. Połączenie różnego rodzaju niewydolności ze strony rodziców, brak podstawowych umiejętności opiekuńczo – wychowawczych powoduje niejednokrotnie nawarstwianie się problemów związanych z wychowaniem potomstwa. Istotna wydaje się więc kwestia pojawiających się trudności dydaktycznych i wychowawczych u dzieci z rodzin wieloproblemowych. Badania dla potrzeb publikacji przeprowadzono w 28 rodzinach zamieszkujących tereny wiejskie powiatu bialskiego. Analizą objęto sytuację szkolną i wychowawczą 13 chłopców i 15 dziewcząt w wieku 7-18 lat. Artykuł zawiera omówienie wyników badań przeprowadzonych jesienią 2014 roku.

The family is a kind of educational environment, consisting of a number of elements, in which the most important are the interactions between different members of the family as they have a huge impact on the formation of children and adolescents’ personalities. The combination of different types of failure on the part of parents, lack of basic educational and upbringing skills - will often cause build-up problems in raising children. Therefore, the issue of the difficulties in education and upbringing of children from multi- problem families seems important. The research included in the publication was carried out in 28 families living in rural areas of Biała Podlaska administrative district. The analysis concerns school and educational situations of 13 boys and 15 girls aged 7-18 years. The article finishes with a discussion of the results of the survey conducted in the autumn of 2014.
