This study analysed how educational practices support the emancipatory experiences of parents and students at a Polish school 27 years after the change of the political system. The subject of examination were educational practices experienced in the classroom by two groups of educational society: early childhood pupils and the parents of children of this age. The data were obtained from the records of lessons and parent-teacher meetings at two schools: a small school and a large school. Four areas were identified in educational practice experiences by the examined participants: places, communication, knowledge and activities. Both pupils and parents experience the lack of the possibility of critical and emancipatory behaviour. Educational practices in the studied areas: places, communication, knowledge and activities are controlled solely by the teacher.

This paper aims to investigate the ways in which parents relate to the emotional and sexual lives of their adolescent children, considering the changes that occurred in the configuration of current families, at both the relational and structural level. Of these two levels, the former considers the quality of relations among family members, while the latter refers to the new family forms currently appearing within the social scenario, disarranging the traditional way of thinking about the family and originating new ways of conceiving the roles of male and female, being together, the idea of couple and – last but not least – sexuality and the various ways of living and experiencing it. The idea is to test whether the new family configurations show different ways, compared to the traditional family, in considering children’s education and managing aspects related to this stage of life. We focus here on same-sex families, with the aim of understanding the complexities determined in this specific family environment – which in many respects is still not fully recognized in Italy. The article in the end points out the theoretical and methodological challenges that will have to be tackled in future; and relatively, it points out a research, which aims to explore the socialisation process of adolescents, and their consequent sexual approach, in the homosexual families contest.

Previous studies have shown that economical behaviours among the adults depend on temporal perspective they take. Taking this into account, it was predicted that temporal perspective can play an important role also when explaining different economic education practices employed by the partents when educating their childrem. The aim of the current study was to look at the relationship between temporal perspectivs of the parents and their strategies of economic education of their children. In this survey study 108 parents of children aged between 10 and 12 years old took part (755 mothers and 33 fathers). The results showed that future-negative perspective is connected with a later onset of economic education of the child, whereas future and present-hedonistic perspectives are related to an earlier onset of economic education of the children. It should be noted, however, that the applied practices of economic education are different among people with a strong future perspective and present-hedonistic perspective.

The purpose of the conducted research was to analyze the processual dimension of the transformations of a disabled person’s life which take place under the influence of experiences related to practicing sport. Therefore, the article attempts to discuss the issues related to the influence of sport institutions responsible for the organization of sport practiced by physically disabled individuals in their care. In the article, I try to prove the similarity of the sport structure with the educational system structure where, apart from the strictly educational functions, there are also socialization processes taking place, diverse in terms of measures and results. The basis for the realization of the purpose mentioned above was the personal experiences of the researched individuals. Hence, the research exploits qualitative data collected during participant observations and in-depth free interviews conducted among the disabled practicing sports. Analysis and interpretation of the research material was performed in accordance with the procedures of grounded theory. The article has been prepared as a consequence of research carried out between 2012 and 2015 among the society of the disabled who practice professional sports. The studies are related to the characteristics of a sports career of the disabled, which, regarding its specificity, is deeply rooted in institutionalized initiation practices regarding inclusion, continuance and the maintenance of the main action, i.e., practicing sport.

The article concerns the excess of measurement procedures at Polish school and the opposing practices of unmeasurability undertaken by young people. Measurement excess at school is discussed in the context of three aspects of the educational process: (1) the amount of activity and curricular content, (2) school assessment, and (3) criteria and rules that unify students' individuality. Students' strategies for dealing with the measurelessness at school are based on relativization, distraction, and resignation from activities. The empirical basis of the text is the results of a qualitative study of male and female pupils' experience of nonsense at school.

Artykuł dotyczy nadmiaru procedur mierzenia w polskiej szkole i sprzeciwiających się im praktyk niewymierności podejmowanych przez młodych ludzi. Nadmiar pomiarów w szkole omówiony został w kontekście trzech aspektów procesu edukacyjnego: (1) ilości aktywności i treści programowych, (2) oceniania szkolnego oraz (3) kryteriów i reguł unifikujących indywidualność uczniów.
