Summary Te main purpose of the study is to present a general overview of legal measures that support employment of older Danish workers and therefore prevent their unemployment. The analysis of the legal construction and effectiveness of these measures, supplemented by the results of research conducted in other selected European countries, will provide the basis for developing a model of combating unemployment among older people in Poland. The following discussion will be focused on Danish legal institutions that are most frequently discussed in the literature.

Streszczenie Celem opracowania jest ogólna charakterystyka środków prawnych, które wspierając zatrudnienie duńskich pracowników w starszym wieku, przeciwdziałają ich bezrobociu. Analiza konstrukcji i skuteczności tych środków, uzupełniona wynikami badań przeprowadzonych w innych wybranych krajach europejskich, będzie stanowić podstawę dla opracowania modelu przeciwdziałania bezrobociu wśród osób starszych w Polsce. Poniższe rozważania zostaną skoncentrowane na instytucjach prawnych najczęściej omawianych w literaturze przedmiotu.

The professional situation of people with hearing impairment is a topic that is not readily undertaken in the literature of the subject. Undoubtedly, the hermetic lifestyle of the described group has an impact on it. The article consists of the theoretical part prepared on the basis of the literature on the subject. It presents the definition of disability and the classification of hearing impairment. In addition, research on the specificity of the functioning of people with hearing impairments in the labor market is analyzed. The second part of the publication is the development and analysis of the author`s own research. 40 respondents took part in it. The research was aimed at understanding the occupational situation of people with hearing impariment and the reasons for inactivity. The conclusions are formulated based on the collected information from the subject literature and the results of the author`s own research.

Sytuacja zawodowa osób z wadą słuchu jest tematem niechętnie podejmowanym w literaturze przedmiotu. Bez wątpienia ma na to wpływ hermetyczny styl życia opisywanej grupy. Artykuł składa się z części teoretycznej przygotowanej w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu. Przedstawiono w niej definicję niepełnosprawności oraz klasyfikację uszkodzenia słuchu. Ponadto dokonano analizy badań dotyczących specyfiki funkcjonowania osób z wadą słuchu na rynku pracy. Drugą część publikacji stanowi opracowanie i analiza badań własnych. W badaniach wzięło udział 40 respondentów. Badania miały na celu poznanie sytuacji zawodowej osób z wadą narządu słuchu oraz przyczyn braku aktywności zawodowej. Całość kończą wnioski sformułowane na podstawie zgromadzonych informacji z literatury przedmiotu oraz wyników badań własnych.
