The legend of Zdziewojski is not a fiction. It is a fact. Yet a fact of the lesser known type, the type which is actually quite common in history. And as every legend, it lives its own life in the shadow of great narratives. The seed once sown by Komoniecki grows over time, and the traces of the work of the preacher from Łask convince us, that his legend, though emerging from the mystic space, is deeply rooted into the baroque world.
