Schools, not only in Poland but also in many other countries, have to undergo thorough changes in respect to quality. Changes in the school of the future can be started by scientists representing various disciplines, understanding the need of its multistage and multidirectional qualitative changes, who shall, in this way, pay back the debt they made at respective educational levels. Therefore, there is a need for such scientists to develop the interdisciplinary school studies, that is scholiology. One of the chapters of the Science of School (Kuźma 2011: 243–256) was devoted to the role of architecture in the contemporary and future school. Concluding my article I say that in the architectural space of school, thanks to the architect's imagination, spirit meets matter and students are given an opportunity to experience art which directly affects their aesthetical education and development of spatial imagination. This reflection is the leitmotif of the present article.

Dążenie do zapewnienia zdrowych, godnych, bezpiecznych oraz komfortowych warunków pracy i egzystencji sprzyja dynamice zmian ku globalnej standaryzacji, unifikacji i optymalizacji działań. Potrzeba doskonalenia m.in. jakości życia, jakości wyrobów i ich użytkowania, wymusza poszukiwanie nowych strategii rozwoju, jak również innowacji. Uzasadnieniem dla zastosowania kryterium jakości wizualnej w ocenie ergonomii środowiska pracy i życia jest możliwość sterowania ich poziomem jakości oraz potencjałem biofizycznym człowieka poprzez kształtowanie infrastruktury wizualnej otoczenia. Implementacja tej wiedzy może zainspirować przełomowe innowacje w praktyce ergonomii, które wniosą istotny wkład w rozwój bioarchitektury jakości wizualnej.

A desire to provide healthy, decent, safe and comfortable conditions of work and existence promotes the dynamics of changes towards a global standardisation, unification and optimisation. The need to improve the quality of life, products and their use, force to explore new development strategies, as well as innovation. The use of in assessing the visual quality of the working environment and ergonomics of life is the ability to control the level of quality of biophysical human potential through the development of a visual infrastructure of the environment. The implementation of this knowledge may inspire a breakthrough innovation in practice of ergonomics, which is going to make an important contribution into a development of visual quality bioarchitecture
