W artykule wyjaśniono pojęcie eximbanku. Pokazano podobieństwa i różnice między eximabankiem a innymi instytucjami wspierania eksportu. Przedstawiono główne instytucje finansowe wspierające eksport w podziale na kraje dojrzałe i wschodzące. Z badań wynika, iż instytucja eximbanku występuje głównie w krajach Dalekiego Wschodu. Największe eximbanki pod względem wielkości aktywów występują w Chinach i Korei Południowej. W opracowaniu przedstawiono typowe operacje finansowe prowadzone przez współczesne eximbanki.

The article explains the concept of eximbank. It shows the similarities and differences between eximbank and other institutions that promote export. The main financial institutions supporting export were considered in division to the developed and emerging markets. The study found that the institution of eximbank occurs mainly in the Far East countries. The biggest eximbanks in terms of assets are in China and South Korea. The study shows the typical financial operations of the modern eximbanks.
