Artykuł jest doniesieniem z badań nad specyfiką doświadczania przez seniorów nieobecności bliskich na skutek ich migracji. Analizom poddano 9 narra- cji osób starszych, uzyskanych za pomocą indywidualnego wywiadu pogłębionego. W artykule zaprezentowano fragmenty wyników badań, wątki znaczące dla zilustro- wania specyfiki doświadczenia rozłąki w badanej grupie seniorów.

The article is a report from studies on the specificity of seniors’ experience of the absence of relatives as a result of their migration. 9 narratives of older people, obtained by means of individual in-depth interviews, have been analysed. The article presents fragments of research results, important threads to illustrate the specifics of the separation experience in the studied group of seniors.
