Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie działalności wielofunkcyjnego centrum pomocy dla dzieci, młodzieży i rodzin w Groβefehn, na terenie Niemiec. Placówkę charakteryzuje wielość innowacyjnych rozwiązań, humanizacja w procesach wychowawczych i resocjalizacyjnych, a także kompleksowość pracy nie tylko z dziećmi, ale z całymi rodzinami. W Polsce nie funkcjonują podobne instytucje, dlatego warto przedstawić stosowane tam formy pracy, jako przykład może nie idealnych, ale na pewno ciekawych, niekiedy kontrowersyjnych rozwiązań.

The aim of this paper is to present the activities of a multi-purpose institution for children, young people and families in Groβefehn, Germany. The institution has a multiplicity of innovative solutions, humanization in the process of educational and social rehabilitation, as well as a complexity of work not only with children but also with their families. There are no similar institutions in Poland, so author will present the model used in Leinerstift as an example of solutions, perhaps imperfect but definitely interesting and often controversial.

Hospicjum jest miejscem, w którym przeplatają się ze sobą wzajemnie życie i śmierć. Tę niezwykle ważną wspólnotę ludzi dobrej woli: lekarzy, pielęgniarek, kapłanów, wolontariuszy, pomocników, a także innych osób łączy jedno – troska o osoby chore i umierające. Artykuł ma przybliżyć choć w niewielkim stopniu drogę, jaką pokonują kandydaci na wolontariuszy do momentu zostania pełnoprawnymi, profesjonalnymi wolontariuszami hospicyjnymi. Ukazane są różne zinstytucjonalizowane formy opieki nad przewlekle chorymi, rodzaje działalności wolontariackiej, a także prawa i obowiązki wolontariuszy. Autorka wyraża pragnienie, by ten artykuł i każde kolejne prace ukazujące się w naszym kraju przybliżały ideę hospicyjną pośród jak najszerszego grona zainteresowanych.

Hospice is a place in which intertwine with each other, life and death. This is an important community of people of good will: doctors, nurses, priests, volunteers, helpers and other people have one thing – caring for the sick and dying. Article aims to give at least a little way, he defeated candidates for volunteers until becoming a full-fledged, professional hospice volunteers. Shown are different forms of institutionalized care for chronically ill, the types of volunteering, and the rights and responsibilities of volunteers. The author expresses the desire that this article and any new works appearing in our country approximate the idea of hospice among the widest possible range of stakeholders.
