In the article there are presented the issues related to the academic entrepreneurial and activities of universities in the framework of the so-called – their third mission. There are characterized basic forms of academic entrepreneurship and initiatives that help shaping this kind of entrepreneurship. Moreover, there are presented the results of a study regarding selected aspects of entrepreneurship, conducted among students of selected technical university.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z przedsiębiorczością akademicką i działalnością uczelni wyższych w ramach, tzw. trzeciej misji. Przedstawiono podstawowe formy przedsiębiorczości oraz kształtujące ją inicjatywy akademickie. Ponadto zaprezentowano wyniki badania, odnośnie do wybranych aspektów przedsiębiorczości, przeprowadzonego wśród studentów wybranej uczelni wyższej o profilu technicznym.
