During excavations on a site of construction ceramics workshop dated to the end of 12th century found were several objects pointing to its wider activity. These were fragments of three crucibles filled with glass bodies and a waste in form of a glazed and ornamented tile. Physicochemical examinations of glass bodies proved the presence of alkaline lead glass of two chemical types: lead-potassium-silicium (PbO-K2O-SiO2) and lead-potassium-calcium-magnesium-(aluminium)-silicium (PbO-K2O-CaO-MgO-[Al2O3]-SiO2). The workshop was to manufacture complex equipment for a representative building: either a castle or a church.
