The article deals with the lyrical biography of saint Teresa of Ávila from 18thcentury. The text of the work has been preserved in two copies in the collection of the Library of the Discaleced Carmelites in Cracow (reference numbers 4 and 38). The anononymous poet based on the engravings from the Rime sopra la vita di santa Teresa, the carmelite lyrical cycle is an example of the engraving poems, a syncretic genre that combines image and word.

Artykuł dotyczy lirycznej biografii św. Teresy z Ávili z XVIII w. Odpis utworu zachował się w dwóch przekazach przechowywanych w Bibliotece Karmelitanek Bosych w Krakowie (sygn. 4 i 38). Podstawą pracy anonimowego poety były ryciny zaczerpnięte z Rime sopra la vita di santa Teresa, karmelitański cykl stanowi więc przykład wierszy na ryciny – gatunku synkretycznego łączącego obraz i słowo.
