Artykuł przedstawia życie i działalność lekarską Teofila Kaczorowskiego (1830-1889), w 1853 roku autora rozprawy doktorskiej o nietrzymaniu moczu, potem internisty praktykującego w zaborze pruskim, kolejno w Golubiu i Poznaniu. Omówiona została jego dysertacja i inne osiągnięcia lekarskie.

The article focuses on the life and medical activity of Dr. Teofil Kaczorowski (1830-1889), who wrote the dissertation on urinary incontinence in 1853. He practiced in Golub and Poznan in Prussian partition of Poland. This dissertation and other medical achievements are discussed.
