Artykuł dotyczy rozwoju rynku prasowego w Rzeszowie po odzyskaniu niepodległości w 1918 r. Cel: Przedstawienie charakteru tytułów prasowych i rynku prasowego w Rzeszowie w pierwszych latach II Rzeczpospolitej (1918–1924). Metody badań: Opis i analiza zwartości tytułów ukazujących się w latach 1918–1924 w Rzeszowie. Wyniki i wnioski: Mimo swojego prowincjonalnego w tym czasie charakteru i stosunkowo słabo rozwiniętego rynku prasowego, w Rzeszowie ukazywało się w badanym okresie kilka tytułów ważnych dla rozwoju lokalnej społeczności. Wartość poznawcza: Artykuł stanowi uzupełnienie obrazu lokalnej prasy polskiej po 1918 r. przez bardziej szczegółowe spojrzenie na prasę wydawaną w Rzeszowie, niż miało to miejsce w dotychczasowych publikacjach na ten temat.

The paper concerns the development of the local press in Rzeszow after Poland regained its independence in 1918. Scientific objective: The presentation of the nature of periodicals and the press market in Rzeszow in the first years of the Second Polish Republic (1918–1924). Research methods: Description and analysis of the content of the periodicals published in 1918–1924 in Rzeszow. Results and conclusions: Despite its provincial nature at that time and the relatively underdeveloped press market, several important periodicals were published in Rzeszow. Cognitive value: The paper supplements the image of the local Polish press after 1918 through a more detailed view of the local press published in Rzeszow than it was in previous publications on this topic.

The article describes the liberal concepts presented in the „Political Review” against the background of political changes at the turn of the 80s and 90s. It discusses how the magazine patronized the liberal revolution in Poland, promoted and developed the concepts of ordo liberalism, tried to create its own catalogue of liberal values. The text attempts to answer the question as to how much the „Review” was a party organ, and how much it was an independent magazine and a place of liberal debate. The text also describes the process of building a political environment by Gdansk liberals, starting from the integration of all political and economic initiatives, the organization of the Liberal Congress, and ending with the creation of the Liberal Democratic Congress, and then the Freedom Union.

W artykule scharakteryzowano koncepcje liberalne prezentowane na łamach „Przeglądu Politycznego” na tle przemian ustrojowych na przełomie lat 80. i 90. XX wieku. Omówiono, jak pismo patronowało rewolucji liberalnej w Polsce, lansowało i rozwijało koncepcje ordoliberalizmu, próbowało tworzyć własny katalog wartości liberalnych. W tekście podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, na ile „Przegląd” był organem partyjnym, a niezależnym pismem stanowiącym miejsce liberalnej debaty. Opisano również proces budowania środowiska politycznego przez gdańskich liberałów, począwszy od integracji wszelkich inicjatyw politycznych i gospodarczych, organizacji Kongresów Liberałów, a skończywszy na powstaniu Kongresu Liberalno-Demokratycznego, a następnie Unii Wolności.

The article presents organizational problems of the ‘Political Review’ in the years 1989–2000, which were connected with the political transformation and the evolution of the journal, which for the fall of communism was Gdańsk underground liberal almanac. The text describes how the ‘Review’ resumed and characterized the graphic design as well as the structure of the magazine. It also discussed the financial problems of the periodical, the rules of operation of the editorial team, and problems related to printing and distribution of the title in that period. An important element which the text was based on was an interview with Wojciech Duda, who has been associated with the magazine from the very beginning since 1983 and remains its editor-in-chief.

W artykule przedstawiono problemy organizacyjne „Przeglądu Politycznego” w latach 1989–2000, które wiązały się z transformacją ustrojową i ewolucją pisma, będącego do upadku komunizmu gdańskim podziemnym almanachem o profilu liberalnym. Opisano, jak doszło do wznowienia „Przeglądu Politycznego”, scharakteryzowano szatę graficzną i strukturę pisma, ponadto omówiono problemy finansowe periodyku, zasady funkcjonowania zespołu redakcyjnego oraz trudności z drukiem i kolportażem tytułu w analizowanym okresie. Kanwą tekstu stała się relacja złożona autorowi tej publikacji przez Wojciecha Dudę, który jest związany z pismem od samego początku, tj. 1983 roku, i pozostaje do dziś jego redaktorem naczelnym.
