W ostatnim czasie na nowo ożywiło się zainteresowanie modlitwą wiernych w jej różnych aspektach. Po ponad sześćdziesięciu latach, które upłynęły od momentu ogłoszenia Konstytucji o Liturgii Świętej Soboru Watykańskiego II warto pochylić się nad elementem, który w pewnym sensie stał się jednym z najbardziej wyrazistych sygnałów idei soborowej reformy wyrażonej zasadą: actuosa participatio fidelium. Niniejsze studium źródłowe podejmuje krytyczną refleksję nad genezą i funkcją modlitwy wiernych w strukturze obrzędowej posoborowej Mszy rzymskiej w pespektywie metody liturgiki porównawczej.

Recently, there has been a renewed interest in the prayer of the faithful in its various aspects. After more than sixty years that have passed since the promulgation of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy of the Second Vatican Council, it is worthwhile to dwell on an element that, in a sense, has become one of the clearest signals of the idea of the conciliar reform expressed by the principle: actuosa participatio fidelium. This source study undertakes a critical reflection on the genesis and function of the prayer of the faithful in the ritual structure of the post-conciliar Roman Mass from the perspective of the method of comparative liturgy.
