The article presents the subject matter of the articles that make up the fifteenth issue of “Educational Sciences. Interdisciplinary Studies,” which is devoted to a reflection on Helena Radlińska’s work and her numerous fields of activity. The concept that binds the articles presented in the issue is the category of a “historical generation.” The authors, inspired by the achievements of the creator of social pedagogy, use source texts and introduce new interpretations using the achievements of world humanities.

Tekst prezentuje tematykę artykułów składających się na piętnasty numer czasopisma „Nauki o Wychowaniu. Studia Interdyscyplinarne”, który został poświęcony namysłowi nad twórczością Heleny Radlińskiej i jej licznymi polami działania. Konceptem spajającym całość rozważań jest kategoria „pokolenia historycznego”. Autorzy zainspirowani dorobkiem twórczyni pedagogiki społecznej sięgają do tekstów źródłowych, a także wprowadzają nowe odczytania jej dokonań, posiłkując się dorobkiem humanistyki światowej.

W dyskusji akademickiej często porusza się problem, czy polska nauka jest dość światowa. Zazwyczaj okazuje się, że taka nie jest. Że brak jej światowości. Następnie pyta się o to, jakie otwierają się przed nią perspektywy. Artykuł stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na dużo bardziej szczegółowe zagadnienie: jakie światowe perspektywy otwierają się przed polonistyką, czyli przed dziedziną z jednej strony szczególną, ponieważ chodzi o filologię narodową, z drugiej – dziedziną, która nie stała się dyscypliną w ujęciu tzw. Ustawy 2.0. Autor stara się sproblematyzować pojęcia perspektywy i światowości w odniesieniu do polonistyki, a także rozpatrzyć w tym kontekście sprawę humanistyki protestu, którą omawia na przykładzie manifestacji, jakie miały miejsce w Hongkongu w roku 2019. Ponadto badacz sądzi, że fala podobnych demonstracji, jaka przetoczyła się przez ulice polskich miast już po napisaniu artykułu, nadaje mu nowych znaczeń: bliższych i bardziej aktualnych.

A recurrent problem in academic discussions is whether Polish studies are sufficiently global. It often appears that they are not. That they lack globality. The next question posed concerns their prospects. The paper is an attempt to give an answer to a more detailed issue, namely which global prospects Polish studies will face in the future, considering the fact that the discipline is, on the one hand, a special discipline – the national philology, and, on the other hand, the discipline that in the light of Polish Higher Education Reforms: Ustawa 2.0 (Law 2.0) is not a discipline. The author tries to problematise the notions of perspective and globality in reference to Polish studies as well as, in this context, to investigate the case of the humanities of protest that he analyses as based on the Hong Kong 2019 manifestations. The author is of the opinion that the waves of demonstrations staged on the Polish streets after completing the present paper gives the study new meanings: closer and more actual.
