The pastoral documents of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuit order) do not offer any specific theory or conception of social justice. However, Ignatian spirituality and pedagogy, when combined with the principles of the Catholic Social Teaching and the practice of recognizing the signs of time, introduced by Vaticanum II, make room for the creation of a module of discerned justice. The method of the Ignatian pedagogy along with the rules of Ignatian discernment provide a quasi-procedure, by virtue of which the maxims of justice are given a special validity, while the Jesuit pastoral priorities, the principles of the Catholic Social Teaching and the recognized signs of time give them a substantial content and introduce them into the economy of gift. Consistent observation of this methodology might create a culture of justice based on the heritage of St. Ignatius Loyola. K e y w o rd s : social justice, equity, common good, Ignatian discernment

Pedagogika i duchowość ignacjańska nie formułują same w sobie żadnej swoistej teorii czy koncepcji sprawiedliwości społecznej, jednak w połączeniu z aksjologią katolickiej nauki społecznej, z praktyką rozpoznawania znaków czasu, zaproponowaną przez Sobór Watykański II, dają podstawy do stworzenia modułu sprawiedliwości rozeznawanej. Metoda pedagogiki ignacjańskiej oraz rozeznawanie ignacjańskie tworzą rodzaj quasi-procedury, która nadaje prawidłom sprawiedliwości swoistą ważność, z kolei priorytety apostolskie Towarzystwa Jezusowego (zakonu jezuitów), zasady katolickiej nauki społecznej oraz rozpoznane znaki czasu nadają sprawiedliwości treść materialną i wprowadzają ją w ekonomię daru. Konsekwentne stosowanie tej metodologii może zaowocować stworzeniem kultury sprawiedliwości opartej na tradycji pochodzącej od św. Ignacego Loyoli.
