Aktywność w zakresie kształcenia ustawicznego nie jest wśród Polaków wysoka. Dane ujawniają niewielkie odsetki kształcących się dorosłych, ale aktywność ta jest najwyższa wśród pracowników. Wykorzystując dane Diagnozy Społecznej scharakteryzowano pracowników podnoszących swoje kwalifikacje lub umiejętności pod kątem cech demograficznych, a także oceny własnego wykształcenia i pracy, zarobków czy awansów. Pracownicy kształcący się wykazują wyższe zadowolenie, nieco wyższe dochody, częściej też awansowali lub podejmowali lepszą czy dodatkową pracę. The data reveal small fractions of adult in continuing education but this activity is highest among employees. Using the data of the Social Diagnosis employees who improve their qualifications or skills were characterized in terms of demographic characteristics, as well as assessing their own education and jobs, wages and promotions. Employees who improve their qualifications are characterized by higher levels of satisfaction, slightly higher incomes, more often promote or undertake the better or additional work.

Lifelong learning is not widespread among Poles. Data reveal that only a small fraction of adults continue their education, majority of which is professionally active. Based on Social Diagnosis data employees who improve their qualifications or skills were characterized in terms of demographic characteristics as well aseducational, professional, income and promotional self-assessment. Employees continuing education can be characterized by higher level of satisfaction, slightly higher income, more frequent promotions and undertaking of more attractive or additional work.
