Systemic tools, such as the standards of professional competences and qualifications, the description of which enables them to be assigned the level of the national qualifications framework, function in the national qualifications systems as collections of information on competences important from the point of view of the labour market and educational system.It is important to recognise the potential of the relationship between the standards of professional competences and qualifications, described in accordance to the Act on ZSK, given the fact that they coexist under the Polish Integrated Qualification System.

The article presents key HR processes in organizations along with adequate opportunities to use information about professions. The following are presented in sequence: 1) staff selection: recruitment, selection and adaptation (on-boarding), 2) human resources development: training, coaching, mentoring, talent management, 3) motivation and building engagement, and 4) outplacement: preparation for the exit , updating resources and broadening perspectives. The article shows how a wide application in HR has the Integrated Qualifications Register and how a useful tool for HR operator's daily work can be descriptions of professions.

W artykule zaprezentowane zostały główne procesy HR w organizacjach wraz z adekwatnymi do nich możliwościami wykorzystania informacji o zawodach. I tak kolejno przedstawiono: 1) dobór personelu: rekrutacja, selekcja i adaptacja (on-boarding), 2) rozwój zasobów ludzkich: szkolenia, coaching, mentoring, zarządzanie talentami, 3) motywacja i budowanie zaangażowania oraz 4) outplacement: przygotowywanie do wyjścia, aktualizacja zasobów i poszerzanie perspektyw. Artykuł pokazuje, jak szerokie zastosowanie w HR ma Zintegrowany Rejestr Kwalifikacji i jak pomocnym narzędziem codziennej pracy HRowca mogą być opisy zawodów.

The article indicates the meaning of using information about professions in vocational rehabilitation, in particular with regard to vocational guidance, job placement and adjusting the position and place of work to the needs of a disabled person. Information about the profession containing psychophysical requirements of a given profession provides the disabled person with the possibility to compare their own potential with the criteria of performing professional tasks. Analysis of information on occupations as one of the basic tools of a career counselor or employment agent gives the disabled person the opportunity to make deliberate and accurate decisions regarding professional development, both in terms of choosing a profession and career planning. On the other hand, the use of information about occupations by employers, in the aspect of employment opportunities for people with disabilities, opens up perspectives on implementing a diversity policy for the employee team, enabling the implementation of the idea of accessibility and equality on the labor market.

Artykuł wskazuje na znaczenie wykorzystania informacji o zawodach w rehabilitacji zawodowej, w szczególności w odniesieniu do poradnictwa zawodowego, pośrednictwa pracy oraz dopasowania stanowiska i miejsca pracy do potrzeb osoby niepełnosprawnej. Informacje o zawodzie zawierające wymagania psychofizyczne danej profesji dają możliwość osobie niepełnosprawnej porównania własnego potencjału z kryteriami wykonywania zadań zawodowych. Analiza informacji o zawodach jako jedno z podstawowych narzędzi pracy doradcy zawodowego czy pośrednika pracy daje możliwość osobie niepełnosprawnej na podejmowanie świadomych i trafnych decyzji dotyczących rozwoju zawodowego, zarówno w odniesieniu do wyboru zawodu jaki i planowania kariery zawodowej. Z drugiej strony wykorzystanie informacji o zawodach przez pracodawców, w aspekcie możliwości zatrudnienia osób niepełnosprawnych otwiera perspektywy na wprowadzanie polityki zarządzania różnorodnością zespołu pracowniczego, umożliwiając realizację idei dostępności i równości na rynku pracy.

The article presents the matter of demand for occupational information in labour market institutions, including public employment services. The issue was covered in aspect of demand for occupational information as well as realistic possibilities of usage of occupational information bases. It discusses the need and availibility of occupational information from various sources and emphasises the importance of continuously developing, supplementing and updating these occupational information sources. The essence of this work is utilisation of standardised model for creating occupational information, that will answer consumer needs, keep up with dynamic changes in the world of labour and will be an opportunity for extending the possibility of unrestricted usage of high quality occupational information bases.

Therefore, it is very important to look for authentic sources of the occupational information and an easy access of students, parents, and teachers to this information

The paper is an attempt to answer the question concerning using the information about professions for the educational offer in an academic institution. The first part constitutes the consideration over contemporary changes in higher education. There are several social= determinants, among them: the development of information and communication technologies, the development of mass media, changes of the structure of qualification and professional mobility. Both civilisation changes and the development of science and technique influence the appearance of new professions and new work places. The information about professions being developed as a career counselling tool can be helpful in choosing or confirming the choice of the field of study or speciality. The information may also facilitate the development of a graduate profile, selection of the content of education (syllabuses, modules) as well as identification and assessment of learning outcomes.

It approximates the organization and tasks of poviat and voivodship labor offices, as well as human resources of these institutions. It shows ways and forms of gathering and sharing information about occupations, description of databases in which they were collected, ways of using them in various positions, as well as the importance of information about occupations in the process of making professional decisions. Characterizes briefly the situations and challenges currently encountered by career counselors working in labor offices.

Tekst odnosi się do praktyki poradnictwa zawodowego w urzędach pracy. Przybliża organizację i zadania powiatowych i wojewódzkich urzędów pracy, a także zasoby kadrowe tych instytucji. Ukazuje sposoby i formy gromadzenia i udostępniania informacji o zawodach, opis baz danych, w których zostały zgromadzone, sposoby ich wykorzystania na różnych stanowiskach, a także znaczenie informacji o zawodach w procesie podejmowania decyzji zawodowych. Charakteryzuje pokrótce sytuacje i wyzwania, z jakimi stykają się obecnie doradcy zawodowi, pracujący w urzędach pracy.
