Serious migration and humanitarian crisis related to the conflict in Syria, is particularly associated with the Germans, and German politics. Therefore, attention of many observers from Europe (and not only) is focused largely on the Germans, who are thus one of the most widely commented nations. This applies especially to the Polish part of the Internet. The intent of the author is to present the image of Germans in the context of German immigration policy, that emerges from the comments in Polish news portals.

The subject of this article is the infotainment present on information portals. The concept reflects the mixing of information and entertainment features in media transmissions (with the dominance of the latter one). The tvn24.pl and tvp.info web portals became the object of the study. The speculations concern the reasons of the popularity of infotainment, its effects and characteristic properties to which it has been classified i.e.: a large role of the iconic layer of the transmission, the simplicity of creating and ingesting communication, effacing the borders between information, journalistic writing and entertainment, dramatizing of the transmission, but also humor.

With the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, people needed information about the new disease. The journalists immediately facilitated it in the information portals. Due to lack of specialized knowledge, they frequently used metonymy very often, so as a result several popular synonyms acquired by readers appeared. In the text we analyze how the predicative name COVID-19 (also considering all possible synonyms) belonging to the category of is actualized in the texts of the Spanish language press online. We present the determinants and light verbs which are mentioned used by Spanish-speaking journalists, and this allows to know better not only the syntax of the name in question but also the combinatory inventory of all the predicative names of the same class. As the texts studied are characterized by a certain level of specialization, the results of the study may do not correspond to the analysis of other, more or less specialized, texts., more or less specialized.

Con el inicio de la pandemia por COVID-19, la gente necesitó la información sobre la nueva enfermedad. Los periodistas en seguida la facilitaron en los portales de información. Por falta del conocimiento especializado, usaron muy a mendu la metonimia, pues aparecieron varios sinónimos populares adquiridos por consecuencia por los lectores. En el texto analizamos como el nombre COVID-19 (tomando en cuenta también todos sus sinónimos posible) que pertenece a la categoría de están actualizados en los textos que se pueden consultar en los portales de información de lengua española. Presentamos los determinantes y los verbos soporte usados por los periodistas hispanohablantes, lo que permite conocer mejor la combinatoria del nombre en cuestión, pero también de todos los nombres predicativos de la misma clase. Como los textos estudiados se caracterizan por un cierto nivel de especialización, los análisis de otros textos, más o menos especializados, pueden llevar a otras conclusiones.
