Przedmiotem prowadzonych rozważań są przepisy ustawy o prawie autorskim i prawach pokrewnych dotyczące instytucji dozwolonego użytku w zakresie, w jakim służy ona swobodnemu – i zgodnemu z prawem – przepływowi informacji. W początkowej części artykułu dokonano charakterystyki utworu oraz praw autorskich, tak osobistych, jak i majątkowych. Następnie autorka wyjaśnia konstrukcję dozwolonego użytku z przywołaniem stosownych przepisów ustawy. Dalsza część rozważań dotyczy korzystania z utworu dla celów informacyjnych – prawa przedruku oraz korzystania z utworu podczas relacjonowania bieżących zdarzeń oraz zasad rozpowszechniania informacji o dziełach wystawionych.

The article shortly presents the issueof permissible use of protected works, which comes from the Act on Copyright and Related Rights. In author,s opinion it is useful solution, as informative purposes are required. At the beginning the author describes work and author’s moral and economics rights, then permissible use of protected works and its legal regulations. The next part of article said about permissible use of works which is justified by the purpose of the information. Some rules of broadcasting some materials through the press, radio and television and also quoting in the reports of current events and disseminating the works exhibited in commonly accessible public collections in press and television current event reports are described.
