Młodzież z państw wchodzących w skład Unii Europejskiej spotyka się codziennie, uważając to za rzecz najzupełniej normalną. Jednym z takich miejsc integracji sąsiedzkiej są miasta Zgorzelec i Görlitz. Wzajemne kontakty realizowane są w sferach życia gospodarczego, kulturalnego i prywatnego itd. W poniższym artykule autor skoncentrował się na odpowiedzi na pytanie: Czy i jakie istnieją zależności między opiniami młodzieży Zgorzelca i Görlitz a pozostałymi mieszkańcami obu miast dotyczącymi wzajemnych relacji w perspektywie bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego Unii Europejskiej?

The identification of common characteristics and integration of neighbouring communities constitute the indicators of secure European Union. The aforementioned integration takes place in the towns of Zgorzelec and Görlitz among others.
