The aim of the paper is an attempt to define the image of the Catholic charity Caritas of the Archdiocese of Lodz. The author used the method of press content analysis (quantitative and qualitative methods of research) and hermeneutical method. The research material was published on the websites of regional press “Express Ilustrowany” and “Dziennik Łódzki”. The author of the analysis paid special attention to how the charity work of Caritas of the Archdiocese of Lodz in the years 2015–2016 was presented.
