The aim of this paper is to present selected types of disruptions (trolling, flame wars and hating) as well as their causes, common elements and manners of reacting to them. The paper also presents the noticeable and predicted results of their growing popularity. The basic criteria that distinguish intended negative actions from misunderstandings are: purposefulness, awareness, repeatability, cyclicity and the disregard of norms. The analysis has shown that typical elements of disruptions include vulgarisms and insults, overuse of emotive and axiological wording, lies, taking statements out of context and redundancy.
