Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zawodu pośrednika na rynku nieruchomości. Artykuł prezentuje aktualne regulacje prawne dotyczące dostępu do zawodu, czyli umożliwiające zdobycie państwowej licencji pośrednika w obrocie nieruchomościami. Poprzez analizę opinii konsumenckiej na forach internetowych podejmuje próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy zawód ten jest zawodem potrzebnym i szanowanym. Artykuł prezentuje niezbędne i pomocne kwalifikacje, cechy usposobienia i umiejętności potrzebne do wykonywania tego zawodu oraz wzory zachowań pośrednika.

The aim of the article is to present the profession of an agent on the real estate market. It presents current legal regulations about access to profession, i.e. those which allow obtaining a state license of an agent on the real estate market. The author attempts to answer the question whether this profession is wanted and respected, through analysis of consumer opinion on internet forums. The article presents essential and helpful qualifications, features of customization and abilities wanted for this practice of profession and agents’ behaviour patterns.
