This text draws attention to the media form of Kanakisch, a language mixed variant used by the modern German youth of foreign (particularly Turkish) origin, and also by indigenous youngsters. The text studies the motives underlying the excessive use of ethnolect language form in the media and the consequences of that media experiment. The material studied comes from short stories in Kanakisch by Michael Freidank selected from his book Kanakisch - Deutsch. Dem krassesten Sprakbuch uebernhaupt (2001, Eichborn).

Niniejszy tekst zwraca uwagę na medialną formę ujęcia Kanakisch, językowego wariantu mieszanego, którym posługuje się współczesna młodzież obcego (zwłaszcza tureckiego) pochodzenia, a także niemiecka młodzież autochtoniczna. Praca przygląda się motywom, które leżą u podstaw stosowania etnolektalnych form językowych w mediach w nadmiernej ilości, a także konsekwencjom takiego medialnego eksperymentu. Materiał do analizy stanowią krótkie historie Michaela Freidanka, które autorka wyekstrahowała z jego książki Kanakisch - Deutsch. Dem krassesten Sprakbuch uebernhaupt (2001, Eichborn).
