Man is improved through work. Work is an important value in the life of every human being – in the life of a young person – a candidate for an employee, an adult – an employee, and in retirement age – a retired person. At each stage of professional development, it should be both the goal and the effect of upbringing. How do teachers perceive their work? What aspects of work are most important to you? The article attempts to answer these questions and presents teachers' statements about work as a value in human life.

Poprzez pracę człowiek doskonali się. Praca jest bardzo ważną wartością w życiu każdego człowieka – w życiu człowieka młodego – kandydata na pracownika, dorosłego – pracownika oraz w wieku emerytalnym – człowieka na emeryturze. Na każdym etapie rozwoju powinna być ona zarówno celem, jak i efektem wychowania. Jak postrzegają pracę jako wartość kandydaci na nauczycieli, nauczyciele i emerytowani nauczyciele? Jakie aspekty pracy są dla nich najważniejsze? W prezentowanym artykule będę starała się odpowiedzieć na te pytania, a także zaprezentowane zostaną wypowiedzi tych trzech grup zawodowych na temat pracy jako wartości w życiu człowieka.
