Artykuł przedstawia eksperyment odtwarzający zdarzenie awarii pistoletu Walther P99, polegającej na wyrwaniu fragmentu czółka zamka i wyrzuceniu w kierunku oka strzelca elementów konstrukcyjnych broni. Do badań użyto kamery szybkiej i programu do analizy nagranego filmu. W wyniku eksperymentu uzyskano prędkości i energie badanych elementów.

This article presents an experimental reconstruction of a failure of the Walther P99 pistol, involving the tearing of a fragment of the breech face and ejecting weapon elements in the shooter’s eye direction. The tests were carried out with the use of a high-speed camera and the software for analysis of video recording. As a result of this experiment, the velocities and energy values of the elements tested were obtained.

The phenomenon of bullet reflection from a ballistic wall has not yet been described or investigated in forensic practice. The article presents the method of conducting such tests, including the results thereof. The tests were carried out using a high-speed camera, video analysis software and a Doppler radar. As a result of the study, the velocities of bullets for which the phenomenon of reflection from the ballistic wall is observed, were determined.

Zjawisko odbicia pocisków od kulochwytu nie było jeszcze opisywane ani badane w praktyce kryminalistycznej. Artykuł przedstawia metodę przeprowadzenia takich badań i ich wyniki. W celu ich wykonania użyto kamery szybkiej i programu do analizy nagranych filmów oraz radaru Dopplera. W wyniku badań określono prędkości pocisków, dla których następuje zjawisko odbicia od kulochwytu.
