W artykule przedstawiono główne idee wczesnego ostrzegania, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem problematyki rozpoznawania zagrożeń w zarządzaniu przedsiębiorstwem. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że potrzeby informacyjne przedsiębiorstw są zróżnicowane i zmieniają się w czasie. W rozpoznawaniu zagrożeń przydatne są różne metody i koncepcje wczesnego ostrzegania. Dla spełnienia tych wymagań uzasadnione jest zastosowanie systemów wykorzystujących wiedzę, w których ogólna struktura przetwarzania informacji oraz narzędzia informatyczne są uniwersalne i względnie stałe, natomiast elementy zmienne, zależne od specyfiki przedsiębiorstwa i aktualnych zadań, zawarte są w bazach wiedzy.

The paper presents main ideas of early warning. In particular the threats recognition in the enterprise management was described. Research showed that information needs of enterprises are diversified and changeable in the time. In threats recognition different methods and ideas of early warning are useful. For carrying these requirements out applying the knowledge based systems is recommended. In these systems computer tools and methods of the information processing are universal but elements dependent on specific tasks are included in bases of the knowledge.
