Słownictwo florystyczne w powieści poetyckiej Jan Bielecki Juliusza Słowackiego – klasyfikacja semantyczna

The purpose of the article is to discuss the floristic vocabulary in the poetic novel Jan Bielecki by Juliusz Słowacki and present the semantic classification of the indicated lexical group. This sketch discusses three circles of meaning, which oscillate around woody plants, flowering plants and other plants. In the considerations, I assume the theory of the lexical-semantic field presented by Danuta Buttler. The conducted analyses prove that the floristic lexicon enhances the romantic features of Słowacki’s work – mystery and horror and the transience and irreversibility of the events happening or their finality. This mechanism is confirmed by the discussed semantic profiles of selected trees. The set of floristic vocabulary presented in this sketch is diverse. The diversity of the indicated vocabulary class is even the hyponyms of trees and flowers. Although individual lexemes do not surprise the reader and remain faithful to Polish cultural realities, they significantly contribute to achieving specific artistic effects through the context in which they were used.

Cel artykułu sprowadza się do omówienia słownictwa florystycznego w powieści poetyckiej Jan Bielecki Juliusza Słowackiego, również do przedstawienia klasyfikacji semantycznej wskazanej grupy leksykalnej. W niniejszym szkicu omówiono trzy kręgi znaczeniowe, oscylujące wokół roślin drzewiastych, roślin kwiatowych oraz innych roślin. W rozważaniach przyjęto teorię pola leksykalno-semantycznego zaprezentowaną przez Danutę Buttler. Przeprowadzone analizy dowodzą, że leksyka florystyczna potęguje romantyczne cechy utworu – tajemniczość i grozę, ale też przemijanie i nieodwracalność dziejących się wydarzeń, ich ostateczność. Mechanizm ten potwierdzają omówione profile semantyczne wybranych drzew. Przedstawiony w niniejszym szkicu zbiór nazw florystycznych jest różnorodnie reprezentowany, o czym stanowią choćby hiponimy drzew i kwiatów. Mimo że pojedyncze leksemy nie zaskakują czytelnika i pozostają wierne polskim realiom kulturowym, to w znacznym stopniu, poprzez kontekst, w którym zostały zastosowane, przyczyniają się do osiągnięcia określonych efektów artystycznych.
