W oparciu o dramat Sorbuisa (1644) Simona Dacha, tematyzujący specyficzne dla danego regionu konflikty w zakresie oświaty, nauki i religii, niniejszy artykuł podejmuje próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie o związek pomiędzy literaturą a władzą. Szczególnie przydatny dla przeprowadzonych badań okazał się model diachroniczny. Pozwala on uwypuklić stan stałego napięcia pomiędzy zachodnim i autochtonicznym (uwarunkowanym wieloetnicznością i wielowyznaniowością regionu „Prusy“) wpływem kulturowym. Z punktu widzenia filologii mamy tu do czynienia z purystycznym programem stylistycznym (klasycyzm), który jako narzędzie władzy napotyka na lokalny ‚obskurantyzm‘ i wymuszoną indywidualną lub mistyczną propozycję językową.

On the basis of the drama Sorbuisa (1644) by Simon Dach, which deals with conflicts specific for the region related to education, science and religion, the present article makes an attempt to provide answer for the question about the relationship between literature and power. Especially useful for the conducted studies has been the diachronic model. It enables one to highlight the condition of constant tension between the western and autochthonic (conditioned by multiethnic and multiconfessional character of the region of „Prussia“) cultural influence. From the point of view of philology, we are dealing here with a puristic stylistic program (classicism), which, as a tool of power, is faced with local ‚obscurantism‘ and a forced individual or mystic linguistic proposal.

Ausgehend von Simon Dachs Drama Sorbuisa (1644), das regionalspezifische Konflikte im Bereich von Staatsbildung, Gelehrtenwesen und Religion thematisiert, untersucht der vorliegende Aufsatz die Frage nach dem Zusammenhang zwischen Literatur und Herrschaft. Insbesondere ist dabei ein diachronisches Phänomen von Interesse, das sich als ständiges Spannungsverhältnis zwischen einem westlichen Kulturtransfer und den autochthonen Bedingtheiten einer multiethnischen und multikonfessionellen Region „Preußenland“ zu erkennen gibt. Aus philologischer Sicht steht hierfür primär eine puristische Stilprogrammatik (Klassizismus), die als Herrschaftsinstrument auf eine lokale Form der ‚obscuritas‘ trifft, auf die gewollte individualistische oder mystische Sprachsuggestion.
