W artykule zaprezentowano funkcję i misję domu Kresowego w Białostoczku ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wątku edukacyjnego. Całość dopełnia rys historyczny, analiza egzemplifikacji zbiorów na przykładzie salonu oraz biblioteki, materiał ilustracyjny. Autorka akcentuje rolę Domu Kresowego w upowszechnianiu alternatywnych form edukacji patriotycznej (lekcji muzealnych, zbiorów tematycznych, publikacji oraz odniesień do scen obyczajowych).

Text is closed by the history and examples of museum stocks from living room and library with their illustrations.
