Franciszek Marian Adam Łubieński (1859–1915) appeared in the land of Stryszów in 1886, after marrying Rozalia née Gorczyńska. He subsequently changed the image of a landowner living in the local manor house, which developed over the centuries in the eyes of Stryszów citizens. Łubieński abandoned his university career, devoting himself to his family and rural community, for which he tried to build a new school building, initiated the establishment of Kółko Rolnicze (Agricultural Circle), and provided new jobs. His commitment and pro-social activities were shared by his wife Rozalia, and with time also each of their children. From 1886, the manor house in Stryszów was a meeting place for the owners of the village with peasants, who increasingly being invited there as members of local theater, women’s and Catholic communities.
