Rozwody wśród młodych dorosłych na tle innych grup wiekowych w świetle danych zastanych. Analiza zjawiska

The article examines the topic of divorce among young adults compared to other age groups in the light of existing data. The author analyzes the phenomenon. On the one hand, the discussed topic covers macro-processes which generate divorces, i.e. industrialization and urbanization; on the other hand, divorce is a matter of individual choice, resulting from the adopted value system. The question arises about the scale of this phenomenon among young adults. What causes such choices? In Poland, the number of divorces had been increasing till 2006, and since then has been slightly dropping. Seeing the decreasing number of divorces, it may be said that young people do not want to dismantle the institution of marriage and family. Also, the reasons for divorce have changed: for example, adultery dropped on the list of reasons for divorce.

Tematem artykułu są rozwody wśród młodych dorosłych na tle innych grup wiekowych w świetle danych zastanych. Analiza zjawiska. W ramach podjętej problematyki mamy do czynienia z jednej strony z procesami w skali makro, które generują zjawisko rozwodów, a więc procesami industrializacji i urbanizacji, a z drugiej strony jest to kwestia indywidualnego wyboru, która wynika z aprobowanego systemu wartości. Powstaje pytanie, jak wygląda skala zjawiska rozwodów wśród młodych dorosłych? Jakie są przyczyny takich wyborów? W Polsce zjawisko rozwodów do roku 2006 wzrasta, po czym nieznacznie spada. Przyglądając się malejącej liczbie rozwodów można powiedzieć, iż młodzi ludzie nie chcą demontażu instytucji małżeństwa i rodziny. Również zmieniły się przyczyny rozwodów, bowiem np. zdrada w coraz mniejszym stopniu stanowi podstawę do rozwodu.
