Drzewo decyzyjne jest graficzną prezentacją metody rekurencyjnego podziału. Metoda ta polega na stopniowym podziale zbioru obiektów na rozłączne podzbiory aż do momentu uzyskania ich jednorodności ze względu na wyróżnioną cechę y. Gdy у jest zmienną nominalną, mamy do czynienia z nieparametryczną analizą dyskryminacji (drzewa klasyfikacyjne), gdy zaś jest zmienną ilościową z nieparametryczną analizą regresji (drzewa regresyjne). W referacie przedstawiono możliwości zastosowań drzew regresyjnych i klasyfikacyjnych do rozwiązywania problemów o charakterze decyzyjnym w diagnostyce medycznej.

Decision tree is a graphical presentation of the recursive partitioning the learning set into homogenous subsets considering dependent variable y. If dependent variable у is nominal we deal with nonparametric discriminant analysis (classification trees), when у is numerical - with nonparametric regression analysis (regression trees). The aim of the paper is to present some applications of regression and classification trees in medical diagnosis for solving decision - making problems.

Artykuł jest poświęcony zagadnieniu specyfiki kontaktu diagnostycznego lekarza z małoletnimi pacjentami i pacjentkami z doświadczeniem wykorzystania seksualnego. Omówiono cechy psychologicznego funkcjonowania małoletnich doświadczonych seksualnym wykorzystaniem, a także możliwe cechy i reakcje lekarza uruchomione w odpowiedzi na doświadczenia dziecka oraz przejawiane w związku z nimi zachowania. W odniesieniu do zarówno lekarza, jak i małoletniego pacjenta i jego opiekunów wyróżniono dwie grupy czynników determinujących przebieg kontaktu diagnostycznego – niezwiązane z doświadczeniem przez dziecko wykorzystania seksualnego oraz powiązane z takim doświadczeniem. Przeprowadzone analizy stały się podstawą sformułowania zaleceń praktycznych dla lekarzy. Omówiono je w odniesieniu do modeli relacji lekarz–pacjent zgodnie z klasyfikacją Szasza i Hollendera: modelu aktywność–bierność, kierownictwo–współpraca oraz obustronnego uczestnictwa. W konkluzjach wskazano także potrzebę rozwoju badań empirycznych odnoszących się do analizowanego zagadnienia, także w warunkach polskich.

The article is devoted to the issue of the specifics of a diagnostic contact between a doctor and minor patients with experience of sexual abuse. Features of psychological functioning of minors with sexual abuse experience were discussed, as well as possible features and reactions of a physician activated in response to the child’s experiences and behaviors associated with them. In relation to both the doctor and the minor patient and their carers, two groups of factors determining the course of diagnostic contact were distinguished - unrelated to the child’s experience of sexual abuse and related to such experience. The analyzes became the basis for formulating practical recommendations for doctors. They were discussed in relation to models of doctor- -patient relations according to the classification of Szasz and Hollender: the activity-passivity model, guidance-cooperation and mutual participation. The conclusions also indicate the need to develop empirical research related to the analyzed issue, also in Polish conditions.

The problems indicated in the present publication result from various malfunctions or deficits caused e.g. by craniocerebral traumas. The sick persons struggle with numerous consequences of such traumas which directly translate into, amongst others, the spoken and written communication process. Apsychological, neuropsychological, neurological and psychiatric diagnosis is asource of valuable information about the disease progress and suspension, or the effectiveness of the implemented therapy. The application of modern research views and positions contributes to the development of more effective impacts directing and supporting patients in their endeavour to live in dignity. This publication is addressed primarily to students as ateaching aid during the forensic, criminal or civil procedure courses, but also to practitioners who – for their professional purposes – appoint handwriting experts, and who seek knowledge about handwriting research.
