Immediately after the end of the fighting for Płock in August 1920, Fr. Józef Strojnowski proposed to build in Płock a religious Monument of Thanksgiving for driving the Bolsheviks out of the city. The idea was not implemented, similarly to other initiatives to erect the monument.

Bezpośrednio po zakończeniu walk o Płock w sierpniu 1920 r. ks. Józef Strojnowski zaproponował zbudowanie w Płocku religijnego Pomnika Dziękczynnego za wyparcie bolszewików z miasta. Pomysł nie został zrealizowany, podobnie jak inne inicjatywy wzniesienia pomnika.
