W artykule przeanalizowano, do jakiej klasy gramatycznej należy leksem jako i jakie funkcje składniowe pełni w zdaniu. Na podstawie analizy 250 przykładowych zdań zawierających jako opracowanokoncepcję klasyfikacji jako oraz anotacji zależnościowej zdań z jako. Zgodnie z założeniami tej koncepcji omawiany leksem należy do klasy pseudopredykatywów, zawierających jednostki nieodmienne, niesamodzielne, pełniące funkcję łączącą, niewymagające przypadka, niekoordynujące i niewprowadzające zdania. Nadrzędnikiem jako może być forma rzeczownikowa, przymiotnikowa lub czasownikowa, a jego podrzędnikiem – wyrażenie rzeczownikowe, liczebnikowe, przymiotnikowe, przyimkowe czy imiesłowowe. Wyrażenie z jako może pełnić funkcję przydawki, jeśli jest podrzędnikiem rzeczownika, albo okolicznika, jeśli jego nadrzędnikiem jest czasownik.

The article examines which part of speech class the Polish lexeme “jako” belongs to and what grammatical function it has in the sentence. Based on the analysis of 250 sentences containing “jako”, a classification of “jako” and a dependency annotation schema of sentences with “jako” are proposed. The lexeme “jako” belongs to the class of pseudo-predicatives containing uninflecting, non-autonomous, cohesive, non-governing, non-coordinating and non-subordinating entities. According to the proposed schema, the pseudo-predicative “jako” may depend on a noun form, an adjective form or a verb form. Its dependent may be, in turn, realised as one of the following phrase types: nominal, numeral, adjectival, prepositional or verbal. The “jako”-expression has the modifier function if it depends on a noun or an adverbial function if it depends on a verb.
