The article deals with the motif of the house, one of the main poetic ones in Dina Rubina’s prose. More precisely, this is a search for a house that has a clear geographical vector: from Tashkent to Moscow, and then to Israel - a search, at first subconscious, then fully realized, for a Jewish home. As a result, the house is found, but not in its material expression, but rather in mental, which is much more important for the Rubina’s heroes. The article considers the cultural and mythological context of the toponym One-year-old bitch, which played a tragic role in the novel Here comes the Messiah heroine’s fate.

W artykule analizie został poddany motyw domu, jeden z głównych w prozie Diny Rubiny, a dokładniej motyw poszukiwania domu, posiadający wyraźny geograficzny wektor - z Taszkientu do Moskwy, i dalej do Izraela. Owo poszukiwanie - początkowo podświadome, potem w pełni uświadomione -żydowskiego domu znajduje swój wyraz nie tyle w formie materialnej, co mentalnej. W artykule omówiono również kulturowo-mitologiczny kontekst toponimu Roczna suka i jego tragiczną rolę w losie bohaterki powieści Oto idzie Mesjasz!

The article constitutes a comparative analysis of Hanna Krall's Wyjątkowo długa linia and Jenny Erpenbeck's Klucz do ogrodu. Introducing the motif of the home, often-exploited in Polish and German literature, both writers infuse the subject with a "fresh" energy of social communication, especially in the field of the so-called historical grand narratives, both writers working within their particular socio-cultural spaces. The analysis of their writings shows that the meaningful topos merely exacerbates the complexity – if not the state of a certain clinch of space – of time and place, and their accumulation, which invariably appears in the newest prose when it enters into close relationship with historicity.

In this article, we analyze and interpret selected poems by Stanisław Neunert (Neumert), a rural poet from the village of Gulcz in the Czarnkowsko-trzcianecki poviat (Greater Poland Voivodeship). Methodologically, we try to incorporate into the formula proposed by Małgorzata Mikołajczak in her “manifesto” of regiopoetry – so, we combine two types of analysis: poetological and cultural. We analyze the way of poetic arrangement (the structure of the free poem, metaphor, ellipticity, idostyle) of several motifs and themes extracted from this poetry: home, nature, cultivated role, metapoetic and autotematic reflection. We pay special attention to the human-place relationship pre-sent in Neunert’s poetry and show the artist’s activity using two concepts derived from geographical and cultural studies – poeta geographicus and poeta localis. It should be added that the text was created in connection with the project “Local biographies” carried out at the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in cooperation with the School Complex in Wielen. The authors of the article collaborated with the pupils of the local grammar school over the biography of Neunert, in which analytical and interpretative remarks concerning his poetry were written.

W artykule podejmujemy analizę i interpretację wybranych utworów poetyckich Stanisława Neunerta (Neumerta), wiejskiego poety ze wsi Gulcz w powiecie czarnkowsko-trzcianeckim (województwo wielkopolskie). Metodologicznie staramy się wpisać w formułę zaproponowaną przez Małgorzatę Mikołajczak w jej „manifeście” regiopoetyki – łączymy więc dwa typy analizy: poetologiczną i kulturową. Analizujemy sposób poetyckiej aranżacji (struktura wiersza wolnego; metaforyka; eliptyczność; idostyl) kilku wydobytych z tej poezji motywów i wątków: domu, przyrody, roli uprawnej, refleksji metapoetyckiej i autotematyczej. Szczególną uwagę zwracamy na obecną w poezji Neunerta relację człowiek – miejsce i ukazujemy aktywność twórcy za pomocą dwóch pojęć wywiedzionych z badań geograficzno-kulturowych − poeta geographicus oraz poeta localis. Dodać należy, iż tekst powstał w związku z projektem „Życiorysy lokalne” realizowanym na Wydziale Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej UAM we współpracy z Zespołem Szkół w Wieleniu. Autorzy tekstu współpracowali z uczennicami tamtejszego gimnazjum nad biografią Neunerta, w którą wpisane zostały uwagi analityczno-interpretacyjne dotyczące jego poezji.
