The changing political system of the XXI century has brought many shifts not only in the global balance of power but also in various regional balances scattered across the globe. The rise of national power in countries beforehand classified as small powers or other equivalents has forced to once again place these states in the newly created balances of power. Amongst these states is Poland, whose national power has grown substantially in the last decade. Hence, it is necessary to analyze how Poland compares to other states in the international system, on a global and regional level, and through this evaluate what Poland’s international position is. The article aims at assessing Polish national power and roles in regional initiatives to examine how Poland is placed in the global and regional balance of power.

Największy bestseller świata, Biblia, zwana także Księgą Życia, chociaż powstała w starożytności, zawiera odpowiedzi na wiele pytań nurtujących współczesne społeczeństwa. Jako podstawa wielu wyznań, w całości bądź częściowo, z dodanymi apokryfami lub bez nich, stanowi wciąż niewyczerpane źródło poznania. Można w niej także znaleźć treści istotne z geopolitycznego punktu widzenia. Celem artykułu jest dostarczenie, w oparciu o wersety biblijne, odpowiedzi na pytania związane z istnieniem narodów i budową siły narodowej. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na powtarzający się w Biblii motyw ducha narodu, co odpowiada współczesnemu wyrażeniu tożsamości narodowej, a także na problemy kierowania, lub zarządzania narodami. W pierwszych dwóch częściach zawarto biblijne przestrogi i wskazówki dotyczące budowy siły narodowej, a trzecia poświęcona jest duchowi narodowemu. Artykuł odkrywa szereg tajemnic, które dla osób nie studiujących Pisma Świętego pozostają niedostępne.

The world's largest bestseller, the Bible, also called the Book of Life, although it was created in ancient times, contains answers to many questions bothering modern societies. As one of the foundations of many denominations, in whole or in part, with or without added apocrypha, it is still an inexhaustible source of useful knowledge. It also contains content that is geopolitically relevant. The purpose of the article is to provide, based on Bible verses, answers to questions related to the existence of nations and the building of national power. Particular attention was paid to the recurring theme of the nation's spirit in the Bible, which corresponds to the modern expression of national identity, as well as to the problems of managing nations. The first two parts contain biblical cautions and guidelines for building national power, and the third is devoted to the national spirit. The article reveals a number of secrets that remain inaccessible to people who do not study the Bible.

Artykuł charakteryzuje proces opracowywania dokumentów strategicznych w Stanach Zjednoczonych w latach 2017–2108. Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza procesu planowania w czasie rządów administracji prezydenta Donalda Trumpa oraz przedstawienie wniosków do wykorzystania w innych państwach. W treści artykułu znajduje się objaśnienie najważniejszych podstaw teoretycznych z obszaru planowania strategicznego, głównych procesów, jak również najważniejszych podmiotów organizacyjnych z obszaru bezpieczeństwa państwa. Artykuł skupia się jedynie na okresie 2017–2018 ze względu na znaczące zmiany, które zaszły w obszarze legislacyjnym, jak również udział w całym procesie planowania strategicznego kluczowych oficerów Sił Zbrojnych Stanów Zjednoczonych. W artykule wykorzystano technki oraz narzędzia badawcze z obszaru wojskowości, jednak szeroko zaprezentowano informacje dotyczące aktów prawnych czy odniesień historycznych w celu ułatwienia zrozumienia skomplikowanego procesu planowania strategicznego.

The article examines the development process of the national level security strategies in the United States. It explains the basic theory of the strategy-making, as well as the primary processes and relations among the major security enterprises. The author focuses on the 2017–2018 timeframe due to the significant changes in the U.S. legislative system and exceptional personalities involved in the strategy-making process. However, the article delivers a military perspective on strategy development. Still, it does not exclude general information on the U.S. political arena, legal framework, scope of the documents, or historical facts. These data facilitate a more comprehensive understanding of the complex political-military relations during the strategy-making process. The primary purpose of the article is to analyze coherent, layered strategic planning process during President Donald Trump administration (2017–2020) and draw significant conclusions, which other countries might implement in their planning system.
