Przedmiotem artykułu jest opis programu semestralnych zajęć „Wprowadzenie do wielojęzyczności”. Tekst zawiera wyszczególnienie efektów uczenia w zakresie wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji, główne treści kształcenia oraz literaturę przedmiotu. Celem proponowanych zajęć jest usystematyzowanie i przekazanie studentom specjalizacji glottodydaktycznej wiedzy logopedycznej, psycholingwistycznej, neurobiologicznej i socjologicznej na temat rozwoju mowy dziecka ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozwoju w środowisku wielojęzycznym oraz wielojęzyczności u dorosłych. Treści kształcenia zawierają tematy o typach wielojęzyczności, specyfice wielojęzycznego rozwoju mowy dziecka, technikach wspomagania rozwoju mowy w środowisku wielojęzycznym, zagrożeniach i trudnościach w rozwoju wielojęzyczności równoczesnej oraz wielojęzyczności u dorosłych.

The article describes a curriculum of a semester-long course in “Introduction to multilingualism”. The text specifies the effects of teaching with respect to knowledge, skills and competences, the main educational content and literature of the course. The goal of the proposed course consists in systematising and passing on to students of language education knowledge related to speech therapy, psycholinguistic, neurobiological and sociological knowledge regarding the development of child speech, including development in multilingual environments and multilingualism in adults. The curriculum of the course encompasses topics concerning types of multilingualism, characteristics of multilingual development of child speech, techniques for supporting speech development in multilingual environments, risks and difficulties in simultaneous multilingualism and multilingualism in adults.

The similarities between the first language and the acquired second language are the cause of the interference. Inflectional errors committed by Ukrainians learning Polish include the adoption from Ukrainian or Russian of inflectional endings in the complement of the noun belonging to the multifunctional case. The article presents a contrastive analysis of Polish, Ukrainian and Russian on the example of the complement form of a hundred nouns. In this way, the differences between the three Slavic languages could be described, which in turn enables the selection of teaching material for Polish as a second language, which could cause the greatest difficulties for Ukrainian children. After all, when teaching Polish to children, it is important that the right language pattern is established from the beginning.
